Your role in the team

  • Take ownership of 2nd- and 3rd-level support for the platforms you manage and act as the technical point of contact for support teams and external service providers, from tricky individual cases to structural solutions.
  • Independently administer and further develop systems at the application level (change management), manage users and permissions, configure systems and apply updates, and ensure reliable, stable operations.
  • Work closely with other IT teams and build cross-functional connections across Charité, sharing knowledge throughout the organization—from onboarding new user groups to introducing new features.
  • Help develop our in-house applications: troubleshoot issues, build new features, maintain deployment pipelines, and remediate security findings. Stack: Python with FastAPI, TypeScript with React and Next.js, PostgreSQL.
  • Capture requirements and feedback from research and systematically incorporate them into the ongoing development of the systems.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of support, training, and operational processes, and support the rollout of additional research software.
