The role
As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer, you go directly into our specialist departments, understand the processes, and develop production-ready AI and automation solutions that will fundamentally change the way the entire GGW Group operates. - Development of production-ready AI systems: LLM-based workflows, RAG systems, agentic pipelines, automations, and domain-specific models
- Direct collaboration with specialist departments (e.g., sales management, claims processing, underwriting, financial processes) as well as the managing directors of the subsidiaries
- Technical interface function to internal stakeholders: You translate business problems into functional solutions and vice versa.

Experience
Your profile
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, a related field, or demonstrably equivalent practical experience
- Extensive experience in the development and deployment of AI/ML systems in production environments
- Hands-on experience with LLMs: Prompt Engineering, Fine-Tuning, Evaluation, RAG, and Agentic Systems
- Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new domains and develop projects under uncertainty
- Entrepreneurial thinking and strong communication skills to work with internal stakeholders at executive level and build credibility
- Excellent German and English skills
