As a joint venture between the Hauptverband der Deutschen Bauindustrie (HDB) and Zentralverband des Deutschen Baugewerbes (ZDB) employer associations, and the Industriegewerkschaft Bauen-Agrar-Umwelt (IG BAU) trade union, we provide crucial support for the construction industry. The name SOKA-BAU stands for the Urlaubs- und Lohnausgleichskasse der Bauwirtschaft (ULAK) vacation and wage compensation fund, and the Zusatzversorgungskasse des Baugewerbes (ZVK) supplementary pension fund.
