Are you passionate about IT, have you perhaps already built your first website or dealt with setting up WiFi and networks? Do you want to combine theory from university with real projects from practice? Then our dual study model in combination with an IHK training as an IT specialist* with a focus on application development or system integration is exactly the right thing for you!

You can choose between the business informatics or computer science courses and can start in the summer or winter semester.

In the application development focus area, you will learn how to individually develop and optimize software applications for our customers. This also includes testing and implementing systems and technologies as well as constant quality assurance to ensure that everything works smoothly.

In the system integration focus area, you will focus on the design and implementation of IT systems, for example. You will also install and configure networks and administer IT systems. At the same time, you will ensure that everything runs smoothly and identify and resolve faults if necessary. The implementation and proper documentation of quality assurance measures are a key part of your training.

2. You will work on real and challenging projects, analyze individual customer requirements and thereby provide added value for well-known customers during your training. Nothing works today without functioning IT systems!

Depending on your focus, you will learn how to use programming languages such as Java, JavaScript or Python or how to provide server services, automate administration tasks and implement customer-specific system integration.
