Application Manager

The Applications System Management organizational unit is responsible for the development and operation of applications in the areas of energy market as well as data and bottleneck management in Amprion's system management. In the context of comprehensive cooperation, many applications are also made available for German and European transmission system operators. Applications for schedule management form the foundation of national and international energy trading. To do this, traders register their planned energy transactions with the transmission system operator, who automatically checks and approves them.

1. Conception, implementation and administration of IT-supported processes and interfaces in timetable management, e.g. configuration of communication interfaces, evaluation of events in log files or development of short-term data provision
2. Stakeholder management with the internal and external users of the applications, system technology and external software service providers
3. Carrying out monitoring of availability and data quality as well as eliminating IT risks (e.g. against cyber attacks)
4. Participation in 24/7 on-call service - a few weeks a year - to troubleshoot all applications in Amprion's system management
