Education

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the operational environment in the cockpit is desirable.
• In-depth understanding of image processing algorithms and libraries (e.g., OpenCV).
• Solid knowledge in processing and analyzing image and sensor data.
• In-depth knowledge of low-level software development, particularly in controlling and communicating with third-party specialized hardware.
• Very good knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably Python, C, or C++.
• Understanding of software architectures.
• Understanding of algorithms, image processing, and relevant tools.
• Understanding of hardware-near environments / embedded systems.
• Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
• Quality awareness.

Experience

• Initial, preferably relevant work experience in the field of aviation and/or image/data processing is an advantage.
• Experience in the development and implementation of AI and Machine Learning models, ideally with frameworks such as YOLO, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or comparable.
• Experience in dealing with suppliers or supplier support.
