Data Engineer Data Platform

In the product group "Customer Data & CRM" of EDEKA IT, we are responsible for the data processing of the EDEKA Group. Among other things, we prepare and structure the master data and customer data of the EDEKA Group to make them available to our business units.

As a Data Engineer for the EDEKA Data Platform, you play a central role in the development of our data products. You are responsible for the continuous enhancement of our curated data layers as well as for the ingress and export processes.

Additionally, you ensure targeted quality assurance to guarantee as smooth an operation as possible.

Your contribution is crucial to ensure that EDEKA has well-structured data with high data quality.

The following are among your regular tasks:

• Development and optimization in the domain of "Customer Data & Coupons" or "Transaction & Master Data" on our Azure / Databricks data platform: Responsible for the development and maintenance of data products, architectures, and pipelines.
• Development and maintenance of data integration processes to ensure that data from various sources is consistent and accessible.
• Intensive collaboration within the development team and with the Product Owner to ensure that technical requirements are met and product goals are achieved.
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with data governance standards so that data processing processes adhere to established governance and security standards.
• Continuous evaluation and optimization of the data infrastructure based on user feedback and internal data analyses to improve the efficiency and quality of data processes.
