Education

• A completed degree in (Business) Informatics, a comparable scientific / technical degree, or an equivalent qualification.

Qualifications

• Proficient in common development tools and methodologies such as Git, Maven, Jira, Confluence, modern IDEs, as well as agile methods and software documentation (e.g., arc42).
• Very good German skills (C1) and good English skills (B2) in spoken and written form.
• You work confidently within mixed project teams with the client's employees, engage with all stakeholders on equal footing, and actively seek professional and technical exchange.
• You represent technical positions clearly and constructively towards the client side and project partners, remaining solution-oriented even in challenging negotiations.
• You work in a structured and transparent manner, document work results comprehensibly, and ensure clear communication in tickets and coordination.
• You take responsibility for your work, independently research solutions, adhere to project requirements, and are open to new technologies and approaches, e.g., in the context of AI or prototypes.

Experience

• Several years of experience in developing Java-based backend applications as well as solid knowledge in object-oriented software development.
• Extensive experience in development with Java EE / Jakarta EE as well as in core specifications such as JPA, CDI, Bean Validation, and Transactions (JTA).
• Experience in developing and integrating interfaces and APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP, JSON, XML-based services).
• Experience with microservices architectures as well as basic knowledge of working with application servers (e.g., JBoss) and relational databases.
