Our expectations of you

Education

• You have successfully completed a degree or training program related to IT or possess an equivalent qualification.

Qualifications

• You are familiar with handling enhancements, user exits, BAdIs, open SQL, as well as analyzing and optimizing performance.
• You have a good understanding of SAP system landscapes, transport processes, authorization concepts, as well as error analysis across multiple system layers.
• Clean code principles, code reviews, testing concepts, debugging, and structured documentation are part of professional software development for you.
• You work independently, analyze requirements together with the specialist departments, and convince through a solution-oriented communication.
• Knowledge of modern SAP development technologies such as ADT/Eclipse, OData Services, SAP Gateway, and SAP Fiori is advantageous.
• You are familiar with agile working methods such as Scrum or Kanban, as well as technical design and effort estimation.
• You have knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and ideally in the modules MM, SD, or Retail.
• Knowledge of the EDEKA process landscape and the retail environment complete your profile.
• You have fluent German skills (CEFR level C1 or higher) and basic English skills (A1-A2) in speaking and writing.

Experience

• You have several years of experience in ABAP development and possess solid knowledge of RAP, CDS Views, as well as traditional ABAP (e.g., ABAP OO, Reports, Dialog Programming, Function Modules, and IDocs).
• You have experience in developing and maintaining interfaces based on IDoc, RFC/BAPI, as well as Webservices (SOAP/REST).
• Ideally, you have experience in coaching and providing technical support to developers.
