Technical Infrastructure Manager

At our locations in Frankfurt and Düsseldorf, our 16-member team ensures the secure and stable operation of the IT systems and infrastructure components we are responsible for on a daily basis.

You are one of the key contacts for infrastructure and infrastructure-related applications in the host environment, taking on both technical and professional responsibility.

They support the processes of "Availability Management" and "Capacity Management" to ensure a secure and efficient production in the host environment.

As a Technical Infrastructure Manager, you can look forward to the following tasks:

• Stable IT Operations: You ensure the secure, highly available, and regulatory-compliant production of the hosted and infrastructure components you are responsible for.
• Management of services and service providers: As the technical infrastructure manager for the mainframe (z/OS), you oversee external operations and data center service providers, define service levels, monitor SLAs, and accept services professionally.
• Availability and Emergency Preparedness: You are responsible for the operational readiness of the host, including emergency plans, restart procedures, and monitoring.
• Capacity Planning: You plan and manage computing capacities, analyze utilization, response times, and throughput, and regularly coordinate with the relevant departments.
• Governance and Security: They develop and maintain operational and security policies, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Further development of the IT landscape: You will oversee change and migration projects (e.g., operating system upgrades, replacement of legacy systems) in close coordination with service providers - also with a view to the eventual replacement of the mainframe by 2030.
• Consulting and Communication: You bring your technical expertise into projects and act as a central interface between business units, governance entities, and external service providers.
