Education
- Completed IT training, a degree in computer science, or a comparable qualification or professional experience.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments.
- Solid understanding of fundamental networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
- Knowledge of cloud architecture principles and patterns is an advantage.
- Knowledge of VDI solutions (VMware Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop).
- Knowledge of scripting, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform) is an advantage.
- IT security and ITIL processes are second nature to you.
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
Experience
- More than three years of professional experience as an IT systems administrator, IT infrastructure administrator, infrastructure architect, or in a comparable role.
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox).
- Experience administering Windows file servers.
