Hardware Engineer

The Weapon System Integration Rigs Department is responsible for all test facilities for avionics, air traffic control and hydraulics for the qualification and certification of the respective systems. It is delivered from concept design through detailed planning, development and qualification of test facilities to in-service and operation. In addition, special Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGEs) and Rig Support Equipment are being developed.

1. Creation of test procedures
2. Carrying out tests and creating test reports
3. Support of systems engineering
4. Familiarization with the existing HW development process
5. Taking over the module/cabinet-specific detailed development
6. Taking on activities in the context of continuous obsolescence clearance. Support in creating the overall concept for the control cabinet cabling, the power supply and the emergency stop system
7. Taking on activities in the context of continuous obsolescence elimination Support in the creation of the overall system concept, taking into account the requirements (functionality, capability retention, product safety, ergonomics, etc.)
8. Support in the development of qualification and testing requirements Support in the creation of development-specific documentation (SPEC, PDR/CDR documentation, etc.)
9. Support in creating order lists for purchasing
10. If necessary, taking over production support at the module/cabinet level
