Qualifications

• Strong hands-on mentality.
• In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Server environment (Windows Server 2022 or newer).
• Good knowledge of virtualization technologies (Hyper-V and/or VMware, Hyper-V preferred).
• Knowledge in the field of automation, preferably with Ansible.
• Basic Linux skills or the willingness to develop and contribute in this area.
• In-depth expertise in at least 1-2 of the following areas: Windows Server, Virtualization, Automation, Storage Connectivity, Veeam Backup, Monitoring.
• Ability to work in a team as well as openness to new topics and technologies.
• Proactive work approach, strong communication skills, and high service orientation.
• German language skills at level C1 or higher.
• Very good understanding of Microsoft-based server environments.
• Knowledge in the areas of Storage, Backup, and Monitoring.
• Basic understanding of cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Bash and/or Python for administrative tasks.
• Broad technical interest and high willingness to learn.
• Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new technologies and systems.
• Independent and structured way of working.

Experience

• Proven experience in the design, operation, and further development of complex Windows Server infrastructures.
• Experience with backup solutions, ideally Veeam.
• Experience with Bash and/or Python for administrative scripts.
• Experience in integrating central storage systems (no storage administration required).
• Proven experience in operating complex IT infrastructures.
• IT infrastructure all-round experience.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V and/or VMware).
• Experience with Exchange and SharePoint.
• Experience with fax server solutions.
• Experience with Veeam or comparable backup solutions.
