Job Summary
In this role, you will develop customized backend systems using Python and AKS, testing and implementing solutions to efficiently support Statkraft's business processes in the energy market.

Your role in the team
- As a Python Developer you will closely engage with the business by developing customized systems in our back-office processes, giving Statkraft a competitive edge in the power market.
- Design, develop, test and deploy solutions based on Python and AKS.
- Support the team to build and extend its knowledge base.
- Work closely with the business to understand the business process and needs; refine and design the technical concept.
- Develop high quality software in all its aspects. This includes design, developing code, debugging and unit testing. Technical specifications, design documents, functional designs and requirements are required.
- Knowledge of estimation processes is required.
- Contribute to the further development of software development within Statkraft and our business in Spain.
Our expectations of you
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Fast API framework, PostgreSQL, Oracle and knowledge of AKS are important to this role as well.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Experience
- Four or more years of experience in software development, with a passion for your craft.
- Experience using AI assisted software development.
- You have used Python extensively throughout your working experience.
- Experience with working with financial & time series data and systems supporting business or industrial processes.
