Qualifications
- Proven track record of owning infrastructure end-to-end and driving measurable impact.
- Comfortable with ambiguity: you take initiative, manage your own time, and leave systems and teams better than you found them.
- You turn complexity into simplicity, make good decisions reversible, and build plans others can follow.
- Comfortable leveraging AI coding tools such as Cursor, Copilot, or Claude—and able to audit and validate AI-generated code.
- German language skills are a strong plus.
- Containerisation and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
- CI/CD tooling: GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Argo CD, or similar.
- Infrastructure as code: Terraform, Pulumi, or equivalent.
- Observability: logs, metrics, traces; familiarity with SLOs and incident response.
- Security basics: authN/authZ, secrets management, threat modeling, secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with Python is a strong plus; our engineers work extensively with Python and Claude.
Experience
- 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles, ideally at a startup or high-growth company.
- Experience in fast-scaling environments is a strong plus.
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP preferred).
