Your role in the team
- At the earliest possible date, you will join our AI Center of Excellence in Stuhr. With the AI Hub, we are building a central platform for AI assistants and intelligent agents that support Procurement, Sales, Logistics, Service, and central functions.
- You combine technical excellence with pragmatic execution, delivering productive AI solutions with measurable impact for the day-to-day work of thousands of people across the GC Group.
- You develop AI agents and agent workflows for various business functions and deploy them in production—including RAG solutions, Copilot extensions, and agentic applications.
- You integrate language models, knowledge bases, APIs, and enterprise systems, and develop reusable components for a scalable agent ecosystem.
- You analyze business requirements and translate them into solution architectures, architecture concepts, reference architectures, and technical standards.
- You define best practices for agents, prompting, retrieval, evaluation, and governance, ensuring scalability, security, and quality.
- You further develop the AI Hub and agent portfolio, evaluate new technologies, and scale successful solutions across additional group companies in collaboration with business units, Data, and IT teams.
Our expectations of you
Education
- A degree in computer science, business informatics, or data science, or an equivalent qualification—alternatively, many years of demonstrable experience in software development, AI, automation, or solution architecture.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of language model platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Azure AI; agent frameworks such as OpenCode, OpenClaw, or Hermes; and RAG, vector databases, API design, and system integration.
Experience
- Guideline: at least three years of relevant professional experience and hands-on experience designing and implementing modern software or AI solutions through to production.
- Experience with data and integration architectures, Git, CI/CD, and modern development processes, as well as cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure; Python is a plus.
- You communicate technical content clearly and work independently and pragmatically. German proficiency at least at C2 level and English proficiency at least at B2 level are required. Experience with Copilot Studio, Power Platform, LLMOps, or AI governance is an advantage.
