Your role in the team
- As a leading provider of software solutions for the healthcare sector, we operate in 19 countries and employ nearly 9,000 dedicated people.
- You will work in a dynamic and innovative environment full of opportunities.
- With your dedication and passion, you have the opportunity to make a lasting difference.
- CGM Leverages AI: We’re looking for people who recognize the power of AI in the eHealth sector, want to help shape change, and are passionately curious about how technology can make healthcare smarter, simpler, and better.
- In your role, you’ll be responsible for the entire journey of modern Power BI dashboards—from the initial idea and prototypes through to go-live—and ensure they’re intuitive, performant, and genuinely relevant to decision-making.
- You’ll dive deep into specialist departments, gather requirements in a structured way, refine use cases, define KPIs, facilitate workshops, and advise stakeholders on prioritization and implementation.
- On this basis, you develop robust semantic data models (e.g., star schemas, KPI layers), which you design and maintain in close collaboration with the Backend and Microsoft Fabric teams—cleanly, consistently, and at scale.
- You ensure data quality, governance, and security by validating metrics, establishing rollout and versioning strategies, and implementing RLS/OLS, sensitivity labels, and clear documentation.
- When it comes to marketing, sales, and market data, you identify connections and growth opportunities, develop BI strategies, and present insights clearly and convincingly to a range of audiences, including management.
Our expectations of you
Education
- You have completed a master’s degree, preferably at a renowned university, in a field such as data science, business information systems, mathematics, statistics, or business analytics.
Qualifications
- In addition, you have extensive hands-on experience in stakeholder management, consulting, and requirements engineering, and are able to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable BI solutions.
- You work in a structured, precise, and responsible manner; you raise risks early, offer solution-oriented suggestions, respond constructively to feedback, and enjoy working as part of a team.
- A strong willingness to learn and an affinity for technology—particularly in the Microsoft Fabric environment—as well as fluent German and English skills at C1 level or above round out your profile.
Experience
- You have at least 4–5 years of experience developing Power BI frontend solutions in B2B and enterprise environments, and you have an excellent command of DAX, Power Query M, and semantic data modeling (e.g., star schemas, dimensions and facts).
