Your role in the team
- As a Senior Power Platform Engineer at Avanade, you will shape the digital transformation of our clients - from DAX corporations to global market leaders.

- Development of multi-agent solutions, Copilot Studio Agents (formerly Power Virtual Agents), Canvas Apps, Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows, Dataverse artifacts, AI Builder, Business Process Flows, and model-driven apps.
- Architectural decisions and technical leadership in complex enterprise projects.
- Development and expansion of Power Platform capabilities at our clients.
- Identification of automation potentials and efficiency improvements in existing business processes.
- Integration of the Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Azure, and third-party systems.
- Establishment of best practices, governance models, centers of excellence, and ALM processes.
- Mentoring and knowledge transfer within the team as well as with the clients.
- Continuous monitoring of new features in the Microsoft stack and evaluation for customer deployment.
Our expectations of you
Qualifications
- Expertise in Copilot Studio / Power Virtual Agents including Multi-Agent Architectures.
- Very good knowledge of Power Automate Cloud Flows and Desktop Flows (RPA), including computer use.
- Expertise in the development of Canvas Apps and Model-driven Apps.
- ALM for Power Platform: Solutions, Pipelines, Power Platform CLI, Azure DevOps or GitHub.
- Knowledge of Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft 365 SDK.
- Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent communication is an advantage.
- Understanding of Prompt Engineering and Grounding Strategies.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 including M365 Copilot, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Data formats XML and JSON used securely.
- Git, CI/CD pipelines.
- Confident communication with stakeholders at professional and management levels.
- Excellent spoken and written proficiency in German and English.
Experience
- Several years of in-depth experience with the entire Power Platform Suite.
- Extensive experience with Dataverse: data modeling, security, plug-ins, business rules.
- Experience with AI Builder and Business Process Flows.
- Experience with integrating and selecting Large Language Models (LLM).
- Experience with Azure Services (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Storage).
- Experience in at least one of the following technologies: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, .NET (C#, ASP.NET), PowerShell.
- Experience with REST APIs and Custom Connectors.
- Experience in consulting and implementing complex enterprise projects.
- Experience in requirements management - capturing, analyzing, and documenting.
