Network Techniker

The Network specialist group works every day to provide 79,000 employees worldwide with a secure and high-performance IT network. We centrally operate and monitor over 10,000 network components at around 2,000 locations in over 50 countries. The portfolio extends from small desktop switches and branch office firewalls to access points through to data center network infrastructures, core switches, SDWAN environments and cloud connects. In order to further expand the availability of our network and meet the requirements of modern network infrastructures, we are looking for motivated employees who will support our network team actively and with passion. You will support us in the implementation and standardization of new services, plan and carry out the rollout and test new technologies. Points of contact with virtual (or modern) network infrastructures of the major cloud providers are also available.

The following tasks await you:

1. Troubleshooting our network infrastructure (3rd level support)
2. Error analysis and error elimination, if necessary with external parties
3. Administration and system maintenance of the network infrastructure including associated services
4. Support of our 2nd level support and documentation
5. Planning and executing global configuration adjustments
6. Support in the implementation of modern network security systems
7. Competent advice and support for our internal customers and IT departments (worldwide)
