Education
- Degree or vocational training in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of SAP system architecture, transports, monitoring, jobs, RFC connectivity, client administration, and technical troubleshooting.
- Understanding of ITIL-based incident, problem, change, and release management, as well as SOX and IT control requirements.
- Strong analytical skills, disciplined documentation, and clear communication during critical incidents.
- Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
Experience
- Several years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration in production enterprise environments, preferably with SAP ECC.
- Practical experience with databases, operating systems, backup and recovery, and high-availability concepts in an SAP context.
- Experience with Solution Manager or comparable monitoring and operations tools is an advantage.
