Our expectations of you

Education

• You have a completed degree and extensive professional experience (> 3 years) or comparable training with many years of professional experience (> 5 years).

Qualifications

• You have very good knowledge of the implementation and operationalization of scalable data platforms and are proficient in a common data analytics platform (e.g. Apache Spark, Databricks, Snowflake).
• You have strong knowledge of at least one current programming language from the data engineering context (e.g. Python, Java).
• We require good knowledge of a public cloud platform (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud platform).
• Certification in a data analytics platform or a public cloud platform would be desirable.
• In addition, you have in-depth knowledge of current software architectures, software development practices and common approaches in agile application development.
• They have mastered basic consulting and presentation techniques and can convince even in unfamiliar environments.
• A high degree of mobility (nationally) is a basic requirement for you to be able to function in this position.
• You usually work with a team, but this role is also characterized by independence and self-motivation.
• Quick understanding of technical aspects and the presentation of technical solutions or solution components, e.g. in customer presentations, are among your strengths.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written German and English is absolutely necessary.
• The ability to work in a team, entrepreneurial thinking, independence and motivation round off your profile.

Experience

• You have very good practical experience in the areas of SQL and databases and have knowledge of current methods, guidelines and best practices in the areas of business intelligence / data warehouse and data analytics.
