Our expectations of you

Education

• You hold a completed degree, preferably in Computer Science, Natural Sciences, Engineering, or Economics, or an equivalent IT-related qualification.

Qualifications

• You have a good understanding of CI/CD methods, automation, and deployment processes, and can apply them effectively in complex system landscapes.
• You have a good understanding of complex IT system landscapes and can quickly familiarize yourself with existing environments.
• You think end-to-end across application and platform boundaries and understand the interconnections between development, infrastructure, and operations.
• You deliberately focus on simplicity and have a clear goal: the reduction of unnecessary complexity in systems, processes, and architectures.
• You impress with a structured, solution-oriented working style and enjoy working in complex, distributed teams.
• You demonstrate a high level of initiative, sense of responsibility, and commitment to quality.
• You communicate confidently and appropriately for the target audience—with fluent English skills (at least C1 according to GER) and good German language skills.
• You enjoy acting as an enabler and advisor, actively supporting departments on their journey towards DevOps and Cloud.

Experience

• You have at least 4-5 years of professional experience in IT, ideally in DevOps and cloud environments.
• You have extensive practical experience in the DevOps environment as well as in the setup and operation of modern cloud infrastructures (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes).
• You bring experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) as well as with modern platform and automation approaches.
• Ideally, you have experience in standardizing and scaling DevOps and cloud platforms.
