Data Migration Manager

To strengthen the project team, an experienced Data Migration Manager (m/f/d) is sought, who will responsibly support the planning, coordination, and implementation of data migration activities within a complex project environment and work closely with the project management and the entire project team.

• Data Migration Planning: Further development and implementation of migration strategies to ensure timely and budget-compliant data migration, as well as guaranteeing the required quality, taking into account existing and emerging dependencies.
• Standardization of the migration process: Establishment of a standardized process for all migration steps, from Discovery and Assessment (D&A) to technical migration and Hypercare, as well as for the management of migration tasks (e.g., via DevOps workflows).
• Organization and Tracking: Utilization of established project management tools such as Jira and Confluence to monitor milestones and progress in the data migration process.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee a smooth data migration.
• Collaboration with other key roles: Close communication with Test and Release Managers as well as IT Architects to coordinate dependencies and ensure quality standards.
• Technical Cutover Management: Responsibility for ensuring a smooth technical transition and monitoring critical activities during the cutover phase.
• Risk Management: Identification and timely updating of risks as well as the development of countermeasures including rollback plans.
