In this role, you will develop simulation networks and their components, program with C++ and Qt on Linux and Windows, and integrate hardware and interfaces into existing software solutions.

Your role in the team
- Planung, Entwicklung und Konfiguration von Simulationsnetzwerken sowie deren Hard- und Softwarekomponenten.
- Entwicklung, Anpassung und Pflege von Simulationssoftware mit C++ und Qt unter Linux und Windows.
- Integration von Hardware-Schnittstellen und technischen Subsystemen in bestehende Softwarelösungen.
- Analyse technischer Anforderungen und Abstimmung von Schnittstellen sowie Umsetzungskonzepten mit Systemingenieuren.
- Mitarbeit an Softwarearchitekturen sowie Erstellung der zugehörigen Anforderungs-, Architektur- und Designdokumentationen.
- Implementierung und Durchführung von Unit- und Subsystemtests.
- Installation, Inbetriebnahme und Erprobung der Simulationssoftware am Standort und beim Kunden vor Ort.
Our expectations of you
Education
- Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik oder der Technischen Informatik bzw. eine vergleichbare Qualifikation durch eine einschlägige Ausbildung mit entsprechender Berufserfahrung.
Qualifications
- Gute Kenntnisse in Linux und Windows sowie in der Entwicklung und Konfiguration von Netzwerkdiensten.
- Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse und gute Englischkenntnisse.
Experience
- Mehrjährige bzw. fundierte praktische Erfahrung in der professionellen Softwareentwicklung mit C++.
- Erfahrung mit objektorientierter Softwareentwicklung und der Entwicklung verteilter Systeme.
- Erfahrung in der Integration von Softwarekomponenten und technischen Schnittstellen.
