Education

• Successfully completed technical university education, preferably supplemented with an MBA.

Qualifications

• Fluent English, any other foreign language desirable.
• Willingness to travel.
• Combination of analytical and strategic competence and conceptual understanding combined with the ability to think holistically and holistically beyond one's own immediate area of responsibility.
• Seniority, straightforwardness, down-to-earth persistence, backbone and sustained assertiveness in setting and pursuing topics as well as in content sparring.
• Unpretentious, uncomplicated, authentic, down-to-earth, empathetic and with strong emotional intelligence, able to put himself aside for the sake of the cause.
• Very high identification with and loyalty to the company, its employees and its tasks.
• Willing and able not only to initiate or delegate issues, but also to personally work on details, get to the bottom of things and develop and implement pragmatic solutions.

Experience

• At least 10 years of professional and management experience, including with subordinate departments, ideally in an international environment and/or with international experience.
• Experience in a professionally managed company in the field of industrial valves, apparatus, pumps, plant, mechanical engineering or metal processing, ideally with a wide variety of different materials that are combined to create a product.
• Successful career in manufacturing/production, ideally with additional experience in production engineering, research & development (design), supply chain management and/or quality management.
• Experience in the design and implementation of systematic change and improvement processes with regard to product quality, process quality and efficiency as well as transparency.
• Experience with technically oriented customer contacts.
