Our expectations of you

Education

• IT experience: You have gained initial practical experience in the IT environment, e.g., through training, internships, working student positions, or private projects, and wish to further develop your skills in IT infrastructure administration.

Qualifications

• Cisco: You have basic knowledge of networking technology and ideally some initial experience with Cisco environments, e.g., in the areas of switching, routing, VLANs, IP addressing, or network fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) is a plus but not a requirement. What matters is that you have an interest in topics such as network access, authentication, and IT security, and that you want to develop further in this area.
• Wi-Fi: You are familiar with the fundamentals of Wi-Fi networks and have ideally gained initial insights into the setup and operation of access points, SSIDs, or wireless enterprise networks.
• Virtualization: You have a basic understanding of virtualization with Vsphere and Proxmox and ideally have had initial contact with virtual machines or virtualized system landscapes.
• Support: You enjoy assisting users with IT questions, approach problems in a structured manner, and bring a service-oriented and patient work attitude.
• Linux: Basic knowledge of Linux is welcome. You should be open to familiarizing yourself with Linux-based systems and learning initial administrative tasks.
• Willingness to learn: You want to develop professionally and personally, enjoy learning new things, and are motivated to gradually delve into more complex IT topics.
• Proactivity & Sense of Responsibility: You demonstrate commitment, take responsibility for your tasks, and are willing to actively contribute to our team and our IT landscape.

Experience

• Windows: You have basic knowledge of Windows environments and ideally some experience with clients, user accounts, or simple administrative tasks.
